St. Patrick's Mission

St. Patrick's Episcopal Church wants to welcome everyone to it's congregation.  We are a church that believes in the dignity of every individual and all are welcome here.  We believe in Christ's commandment to Love your Neighbor as yourself.  Our services are more traditional, but the love that is found here is genuine and gives hope and peace.  It is a good place for worship, inspiration and joy when the rest of the world seems to be thriving on chaos and the latest negative sound byte.

Donnel's Thoughts from 2026 Annual Report - (selected excerpts)

Education:  O
ne thing I was very pleased about last year was the emergence of a time and place for adult education downstairs Sundays at 9:00am.
Outreach:  I think that we could be justifiably proud of supporting persons and causes outside of the parish, both local and around the world... if pride were not a sin, that is.  (LOL)

Tom's Thoughts from 2026 Annual Report - (selected excerpts)

For 2025,  I can offer 3 observations on the life of the Church of St. Patrick in Ferndale.  The first if regarding the context of our church in the nation and in the world.  (By context, I mean the voice / spirit of the world has been telling us loudly and cruelly all year what we are worth, where we belong, and what our hope should be focused on.)  The second is for the resilience of the Body of Christ in the world.  The third is the hope we have found and strengthened in each other....
I am thankful that we remain faithful in daily obedience to walk in love and surrender to Christ as the only king in the kingdom of God.
Susan's Thoughts from 2026 Annual Report - (selected excerpts)

2025 was a musically wonderful year at St. Patrick's.  Paul Sebesta played lots of beautiful violin music, including (works from) Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Corelli, Mendelssohn and others.
In September, Solveig Munson sang and played an Armenian processional for Holy Cross Day... It was a complicated piece requiring much preparation.
On December 5 and 28, Father O'Flynn played lovely preludes for flute and organ by Charles Callahan.
